Pile up treasure, pay mercenaries to keep fighting for you, and spend the hoard on cards that grow stronger the richer you are.
How it plays
You make money and then spend it. Treasure piles up on your side of the board, and it goes into cheapening your next play, into a burn spell that scales with how much you hand over, or into making your mercenaries larger. It is an engine, so the first few turns buy nothing visible — the payoff cards are only worth their cost once the treasure is there.
- Strengths
- Turning saved-up treasure into cards that scale with it, and pricing a slower opponent out of the game.
- Weaknesses
- It needs a few turns before the treasure is worth anything, so fast decks punish it. It has nothing that simply destroys a creature.
